The chairman of Nigeria's ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has resigned after being charged with corruption by the country's anti-corruption agency. <br/><br/>Vincent Ogbulafor has not pleaded guilty to the charges of trying to take over 1 million dollars from public funds with others. His fate remained shaky last night and the embattled chairman had informed the president in writing of his plan to quit. <br/><br/>Some southeast state governors have demanded that Ogbulafor should step down, until he clears himself of the fraud allegations.
