Reports from the Nigerian capital say the ailing President Umaru Yar'Adua may have returned home secretly after three months medical treatment in Saudi Arabia. He is suffering from a heart condition and kidney problems. Reports say a plane landed from Jeddah at the Presidential wing of Abuja airport in the middle of the night where an ambulance was waiting on the tarmac. Earlier this month the Nigerian Vice-President Goodluck Jonathan took over as acting leader of Nigeria as fears mounted of a power vacuum in the country.
