Nigeria objects US decision

Nigeria on Tuesday came out strongly against the US decision of subjecting its citizens to tight security screening at airports. It alleged discrimination on part of United States against its 150 million people. Nigeria's Information minister Dora Akunyili said the failed bomber, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab who tried to explode the aircraft on Christmas day does not represent what Nigeria stands for.<br/>The US has announced that passengers from 14 nations flying into its territory will face additional screening starting Tuesday. The decision was taken following a failed attempt by a Nigerian student to detonate an explosive aboard Delta Flight from Nigeria that landed in Detroit.<br/>
