In Nigeria, at least eight soldiers were killed and two others injured in a Boko Haram ambush today. <br/><br/>According to the military source, government troops heading to the town of Dikwa came under attack at Ajirin village in the Mafa area this morning. <br/><br/>A military official told news agency AFP that there was a heavy gunfight and Boko Haram also suffered losses. <br/><br/>Nigeria's military last year drove Boko Haram out of towns and forest strongholds but isolated attacks and suicide bombings continue in the country.
