Later, remaining firm, the Nifty had climbed 77 points, to 10,162 a short while ago. The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange had gained 188 points, to 32,461. And at the forex market, the rupee had appreciated 2 paise, to 64.06 against the dollar in afternoon deals.
