In Karnataka, National Investigation Agency (NIA) has started probe into the terror attack which left 16 persons including eight policemen injured AIR Bangalore Correspondent reports that the sleuths of the NIA are piecing together the information and other relevant material.

The Karnataka Government today described the incident as a terror attack and said that vehicle used in the blast is believed to be from outside Karnataka.

The Home Minister, Mr. Sushil Kumar Shinde told reporters in Kolkata that all details about the blast will be shared after the enquiry is over. Earlier, Minister of State for Home, R.P.N. Singh appealed people of Karnataka to remain calm.
