In Jammu and Kashmir, Sharad Kumar, Director General, National Investigation Agency (NIA), called on Governor N.N Vohra, at the Raj Bhavan Jammu last evening. The Governor discussed with Kumar issues relating to the near half a dozen terrorist attacks which had taken place along the Line of Control and along Arnia, Kathua, Samba, Dina Nagar, Udhampur and Pathankot areas along the Indo-Pak International Border recently. They discussed the systemic measures which are required to be taken in the wake of present security scenario. Kumar also briefed the Governor about NIA's shortly commencing functioning in J&K from its upcoming establishment in Jammu.
