In Manipur, a team of National Investigating Agency (NIA) has raided the office complex of the Lamyanba Publication Trust at Imphal on Wednesday. The Trust is publishing a vernacular daily newspaper called Ireibak. The raid was conducted for about five hours starting from 9:50 hours on Wednesday morning. According to official sources, audit reports and annual statements of the Trust from 2007-2011, official documents related to the publication of the daily newspaper by the Trust, one hard disc of computer and one diary have been seized from the office during the raid. The raid was conducted on the strength of a search warrant issued by the Court of Special Judge of NIA at Guwahati on the 19th April.
