The Director General of National Investigating Agency Mr. Sharad Kumar today reviewed the progress of the Burdwan blast probe in West Bengal. After reaching to Kolkata the four members high level team of the NIA led by Mr. Kumar visited the blast site at Khaghragarh where two persons were died on 2nd of this month. The high level team from Delhi also visited the house at Badsahi Road near the blast site from where NIA recovered huge quantity of explosives and other chemical materials. Later the Delegation left for Beldanga in Murshidabd District to inspect the house used by the suspected extremists as their hideouts. The high level team will also meet the investigators to take the stock of the progress of the probe. The NIA Director General will submit a report to the Union Home Ministry after returning to Delhi.
