NIA arrests key accused involved in gruesome incident of chopping palm of College Professor in Kerala 13 years ago

In Kerala, the NIA has taken into custody, Savad, the first accused involved in the gruesome incident of chopping the palm of a College Professor belonging to the Newman College in Thodupuzha in 2010. He was nabbed from his hideout at Mattannur in Kannur district yesterday.<br />''<br />''A seven-member gang, armed with deadly weapons chopped off the right palm of Professor T J Joseph on 4th July 2010  accusing him of blasphemy, in connection with a question paper prepared by him.
