The National Human Rights Commission, NHRC will conduct spot enquiry into allegations of police atrocities on students protesting against irregularities in appointments of primary teachers in West Bengal.<br/><br/>The commission has asked its Director General, Investigation to depute a senior female officer to conduct enquiry into the allegations of police brutality against the youth, who were protesting in Kolkata against the irregularities and corruption in the appointments of primary school teachers.<br/><br/>An official release said, the NHRC has been given two weeks to submit a report. It said, the Commission has given these directions after taking cognizance of a complaint by the All India Democratic Women's Association in the matter.
