The National Human Rights Commission today issued notices to the Chief Secretary and the Director General of Police of Jharkhand into the allegations that during the police action against a protesting mob in Ranchi, a government servant was killed and several others were injured. Taking a suo moto cognizance of media reports, the Commission has asked them to submit a report within four weeks in this regard.
