<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #222222;">The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) issued a notice to the Bihar Government over the reported incident of 184 students falling ill after consuming Mid-Day-Meal in a government-run school in the state. The commission in its notice asked for a detailed report within four weeks from the Chief Secretary of Bihar. NHRC also said that the report should include action taken against the responsible officials for any negligence and flouting of government guidelines on food safety and hygiene. The reports said that the students had allegedly complained about the smell of kerosene oil from the meal and fell ill after eating it at the middle school in the West Champaran District.   </span></p>
