The National Human Rights Commission-NHRC has issued notices to the Director General of Police of Chhattisgarh and Union home secretary over allegations that some CRPF personnel had dragged a 15-year-old girl out of her house and raped her in tribal Bastar region.<br/><br/>As per the complaint received by NHRC, the incident took place on April 2 when some unidentified security personnel, apparently from the CRPF, forced their entry into a house at Chintagufa village in Sukma district looking out for a man said to be a member of Sangam, the grass root level organisation of Maoists.<br/><br/>NHRC took cognizance of the matter on the basis of copies of the complaints submitted by the victim's mother to the Sukma superintendent of police. Also, Bhartiya Mahila Federation, Sukma handed over the copies of the complaints to the district collector.
