The National Human Rights Commission, NHRC, has issued notices to the Superintendent of Police of Karnal district and Principle Secretary of education department of Haryana in a alleged death of a child due to shock after having been locked up in his school. Taking a suo motu cognizance of a media report, the commission has asked to submit a report in the matter within four weeks. The NHRC has also asked these authorities to inform action taken by their departments in this regard.
