National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has issued notices to Civil Aviation Ministry and Airports Authority of India over repeated incidents of glass panels falling at Chennai Airport. <br/><br/>NHRC member Justice D.Murugesan said, despite many such incidents, the authorities appear to have not paid heed to the safety concerns of the public. On Monday, a complaint was lodged with the Commission saying that 61 such incidents have occurred since the modernized airport terminals were inaugurated in 2012.
