National Human Rights Commission, NHRC, on Wednesday sought a response from Delhi Police Commissioner on media reports about an injured young girl being dragged by policemen in a ghastly manner at a court complex in New Delhi. The Commission has issued a notice to the Commissioner of Police, Delhi calling for a report in the matter within two weeks. The Commission has taken suo motu cognizance of media reports alleging that the girl having plaster in her leg was dragged by police personnel in a ghastly manner instead of using a wheelchair at the Karkardooma Court premises in Delhi.
