The National Human Rights Commission has condemned the killing of 25 CRPF personnel by Naxalites in Sukma saying the government should take note of such incidents and suitably compensate the aggrieved families. <br/><br/>The Commission said it is expected that the State will take note of the sacrifices made by jawans in maintaining the rule of law and creating an environment of peace and security in the country. <br/><br/>In a statement, the NHRC said it is disturbed over the killing and asserted that acts of violence are an anti-thesis to the struggle for protection of human rights. The Commission stands for upholding human rights of all in the country and is consistent in its firm belief. The NHRC said, a loss of life of any innocent person, whether in force or a civilian, is a matter of violation of human rights.
