The National Human Rights Commission, NHRC, will organize a camp in Guwahati on 28th and 29th of this month to dispose of the pending cases of human rights. A delegation headed by the chairperson of the commission, Justice K.G. Balakrishnan will do the hearing. Over 50 cases concerning to Assam will be considered for disposal with necessary directions to the public authorities. The commission will also conduct a hearing on 30th of this month at Shillong in Meghalaya. Our correspondent reports that the NHRC is organizing such camps to reach out to the far-flung areas in different parts of the country to resolve the humanright issues.
