The National Handicapped Finance & Development Corporation (NHFDC) has announced two Scholarship schemes for students with disabilities for the year 2012-2013. According to an official release, 1000 scholarships under Trust Fund can be availed by students whose total family income is less than three lakh rupees per annum for professional courses at Graduate and Post Graduate level.

Another 500 scholarships under National Fund are allotted to students for higher academic, professional or technical courses with a total family income up to nearly lakh rupees per annum. Students pursuing correspondence courses are also eligible under this scheme.
