In a statement, the agency today decided to provide FASTag to existing monthly pass holders by absorbing their one-time cost. <br/><br/>The statement added that to facilitate its purchase by road users, points of sale will be made available at select toll plazas on these corridors.<br/><br/>The development assumes significance, given that India incurs a huge loss of over 21 billion US dollars annually on account of delays due to frequent halts at toll plazas and poor roads, according to a report by IIM-Kolkata.<br/><br/>
