In Uttarakhand, national highways leading to Badrinath and Kedarnath shrines have been blocked due to landslides following the rains at different places. According to officials, Rishikesh-Badrinath highway has been blocked near Chinka due to debris whereas Kedarnath route has been closed due to frequent landslides at Sirobagar in Rudhraprayag district on Monday morning. Meanwhile rain occured in various parts of state during the last 24 hours.
