The temple town Vrindavan's alleged indiscriminate dumping of municipal solid waste has come under the scanner of the National Green Tribunal. NGT has now appointed a commissioner to investigate the issue. <br/><br/>Advocate Rahul Khurana will submit a report on collection, dumping, transportation and burning of municipal solid waste in the Uttar Pradesh town. The Green Panel's directions came while hearing of a plea by a local seer who claimed there is unregulated disposal of solid waste in Vrindavan. The matter has been listed for next hearing on 7th April.
