In Uttar Pradesh the National Ganga River Basin Authority has sanctioned 315 crore 34 lakhs rupees for the several projects to check the pollution in the river Ganga in Allahabad.<br/><br/>Quoting official sources our Lucknow correspondent reports that this decision was taken in the first Empowered Staring Committee meeting of the Authority which was held recently.<br/><br/>As per provisions the Central Government would bear the 70 per cent and state government 30 per cent of the project as they will be implemented with the collaboration of Central and the state government.<br/>
