<span style="color: #222222;">External Affairs Ministry has said that NGOs functioning in the country are expected to adhere to all the laws including in respect of foreign funding. In a virtual briefing today, MEA spokesperson Anurag Srivastava while replying to a question over Amnesty International said that NGOs are expected to follow the law of the land in the same manner as they would presumably do in other countries including in the US and the European Union. He said, India also expects that other governments would not condone contravention of Indian laws by any entity.</span><br />''
