In UP, a leading Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) of the country has felicitated three newly married women for their refusal to go to their in-laws house where there were no toilets. Their act led to force their in-laws to construct toilets in their houses. women, who have been awarded two lakh rupees each by the NGO [Sulabh International] belong to Mahrajganj, Kushinagar and Siddharthanagar districts. AIR correspondent says that this has created awareness among the villagers of this backward area for sanitation.
