The national federation of Aakashwani and Doordarshan Employees, NFADE, an umbrella organisation of 21 service associations of Prasar Bharati has categorically denied reports in a section of media that the federation's 48 hour agitation was directed against the Chief Executive Officer of Prasar Bharati. In a signed press release the president and the general secretary of NFADE have made it clear that the agitation was launched with the single point agenda of repeal of the Prasar Bharati Act, and is in no way against the CEO of Prasar Bharati.Meanwhile all agitating employees have returned to duty from 9 am this morning.
