NF Railway to run Guwahati – Bangalore special train tomorrow

North East Frontier railway will run a special train between Guwahati to Bangalore tomorrow to meet the requirements of those who returned Assam from Southern states in the wake of fake SMS threat. Official sources said that tickets were provided free of cost by the Assam government for those who are leaving by special train tomorrow for Chennai and Bangalore. North East Frontier Railway ran two special trains to Bangalore in addition to regular trains. Meanwhile, Assam government has decided to exempt matriculation fees for the students of violence hit Kokrajhar, Chirang, Bongaigaon and Dhubri district. The decision was taken yesterday in a meeting between Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi and Group of Ministers, GoM, constituted to monitor relief and rehabilitation works.Gogoi instructed GoM to ensure there was no further loss of classes in the affected areas. Most of the schools have resumed classes in these districts. The Chief Minister also instructed concerned department to provide winter garments to the camp inmates. Around 1 lakh 85 thousand people are still staying in relief camps.
