Bank of Bangladesh has strongly denied the news spreading on social media and some news media in Bangladesh that the government is scrapping Tk 500 and Tk 1000 notes as misleading and false.&nbsp;<br />''<br />''In a press release on Thursday the central bank of the country, the Bank of Bangladesh said that publication of such news items is creating fear and confusion among people and it may destroy stability of the country's currency management system. It further said that neither the central bank has any such plans nor the government issued any such directive.
