Karnataka Governor H R Bharadwaj has accepted the resignation of B S Yeddyurappa. In a press statement issued by Raj Bhavan, the Governor has asked Yeddyurappa to continue to function as Chief Minister along with his Council of Ministers till alternative arrangements are made. Yeddyurappa had tendered his resignation yesterday after the party's Parliamentary Board had asked him to resign in the background of Lokayukta report indicting him for illegal mining. Our Correspondent adds that the activities in the BJP camp have been reduced to the minimum today after four days of high political drama. According to the party's Karnataka incharge, Dharmendra Pradhan, the announcement of new leader for legislature party will be made on Wednesday.ent
