A special session of Maharashtra Legislative Assembly will be conducted from 10th to 12th of this month. The newly-elected MLAs will be sworn-in on the 10th and 11th. The Fadnavis-led government will seek a vote of confidence on the 12th.

The second cabinet meeting of Maharashtra government concluded on Saturday evening. The Chief Minister reviewed projects of key departments. Briefing media persons after the cabinet meeting, state cabinet minister, Sudhir Mungantiwar, said that secretaries of finance, agriculture, home, power and energy explained the status of projects of their departments.

He also said that the CM has ordered a detailed investigation into the murder case of Javkheda Dalit family. The CM has also ordered that the case be run in a fast track court.
