The world's richest cricket board BCCI is expected to undergo a new set of reforms as its new President Mr. Shashank Manohar has given clear signals to clean up the board and bring the game of cricket out of the clouds of suspicion and allegations of corruption. Shashank Manohar was today elected as the BCCI presiden in the special general meeting of the BCCI. He resolved to take many steps for the welfare of the cricket. AIR correspondent reports, the newly elected BCCI presidentShashank Manohar has raised the expectations of true cricket lovers as he clearly showed his intentions to adopt strict measures for the welfare of the most popular but somewhat tainted game in the country. He vowed to restore the faith of the people in the game of cricket. He pointed out towards the strength of the cricket loving fans as they have given this game and the regulating board a huge popularity. He also expressed concern about the things happened in the recent years in the game which created doubts in the minds of the fans and shaken their faith for the game. He underlined the need to build the clean image of the board and said that he is taking steps in this direction. He further said that he will try to bring transparency in BCCI by reforming the transaction and audit process. He also appealed to give him two months time to do the cleaning process and implement reforms in this regard. He is going to start the talent hunt especially for the hiqh quality spinners and also pay attention to the development of women's cricket.
