The first Session of newly elected Assam Assembly begins today in Dispur. Protem Speaker Bhumidhar Barman will administer the oath to the newly-elected Legislators in the Assembly. Sources said, the new Speaker will be elected on the opening day of the Session today. Former Minister Pranab Gogoi is likely to be elected Speaker of the Assembly. Governor Janaki Ballav Patnaik will address the members of the newly elected members of the Assembly tomorrow.
