New Zealand win first T20 International against India by 8 wickets

New Zealand have won the first Twenty20 International against India by eight wickets. In Bangalore on Saturday, put in to bat, the Indian eves were sent packing for 125 runs in 19.5 overs. The Kiwis overhauled the target of 126 in 12.3 overs, losing just two wickets in the process. Their skipper Sophie Devine led from the front with a blazing 22-ball 70.For India, skipper Mithali Raj top-scored with a 23-ball 35 but none of her teammates managed to come good against a disciplined Kiwi bowling effort.
