New Zealand were 329 for 4 on the opening day of the first Test against India when stumps were drawn at Auckland today.Brendon McCullum and Kane Williamson smashed brilliant centuries to lead New Zealand's spirited fightback and take the opening day honours in the first cricket Test. Williamson got out at 113 runs. Skipper McCullum 143 and Corey Anderson 42 were in the middle at the close of play.The duo of Williamson and McCullum put on a 221-run stand for the fourth wicket to lift the hosts from a precarious 30 for three.New Zealand was helped by four dropped catches and inconsistent bowling under pressure by the visitors. The Indian bowlers attacked in a bid to take wickets, but gave away runs. Ishant Sharma and Zaheer Khan claimed 2 wickets each. Earlier, put in to bat, New Zealand got off to a poor start, as it lost it's openers, with just 23 on the board.
