New Zealand beat Sri Lanka by one wicket in their Group A match of the Champions Trophy in Cardiff last night. Chasing a target of 139 to win, New Zealand made the reqired runs for the loss of 9 wickets in just 36.3 overs. Nathan McCullum made 32, while Martin Guptill scored 25. Earlier, Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat first. They were all out for 138 runs in 37.5 overs. Kumar Sangakkara has made 68 runs.In today's encounter, Pakistan will take on South Africa in a Group B match at Edgbaston in Birmingham.
