New Zealand beat Pakistan by 110 runs

New Zealand recorded an emphatic 110-run victory over Pakistan in their Group 'A' Cricket World Cup match at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Sri Lanka today. Electing to bat, New Zealand made an impressive 302 for seven in their 50 overs. Ross Taylor cracked a breath-taking 131 runs off 124 balls. The Kiwi bowlers then dismissed Pakistan for 192 in 41.4 overs. Ross Taylor was declared the Man of the Match. Both New Zealand and Pakistan now have six points each after playing four matches. In tomorrow's only World Cup fixture, co-hosts India will meet the Netherlands at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in New Delhi. All India Radio will broadcast live commentary on the Day-Night Group 'B' match. The commentary can be heard on Rajdhani Channel and FM Gold from 2 P.M. onwards.
