The New Year celebrations have kicked- off across the Nation .In the National Capital markets, malls and shops are well deck up for the welcome of new year 2012.

Bidding adieu to the year 2011 the people of Goa are all ready to welcome the New Year in a shortwhile from now. The capital city Panaji is wearing a new look because of wide scale illumination and over two to three lakh crowd of people flocking to the state from different parts of the world.

Nagaland is all set to welcome the New Year tomorrow. Preparations are on across the state to celebrate New Year’s Eve where various churches and organizations have organized special programmes and midnight services to usher in the New Year.

The President and Vice President have greeted the nation on the eve of New year. In her message President Pratibha Devisingh Patil has called upon people to resolve to work with all dedication and a sense of pride in whatever activities they undertake.
