New Weekly Train Service Starts from Kumaon to Amritsar; Union Minister Flags Off Inaugural Journey

<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #222222;">In Uttarakhand, a new train service has commenced today from the Kumaon division to Amritsar, Punjab. This train will operate once a week. Union Minister of State for Defense, Ajay Bhatt, flagged off this train today from Lalkuan in Nainital district to Amritsar. On this occasion, Mr. Bhatt mentioned that the Sikh community had long been demanding a train from Lal Kuan to Amritsar. He highlighted the presence of many religious places of the Sikh community in Uttarakhand and emphasized that people traveling to Amritsar will benefit from the rail transport facility. He also stated that initially, the train will run once a week, but with an increasing number of passengers, its operation will be expanded.</span></p>
