New team to visit US soon to get access to Headly

New Delhi is to send a new team soon to the US to get access to David Coleman Headley, accused in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack. Solicitor General Gopal Subramanium said all bottlenecks to get access to Headley have been removed. Gopal Subramanium,who has just returned from Washington after holding discussions on the issue, was answering a query on how early India could get access to Headley.<br/><br/>Attorney General of India, G.E. Vahanvati also said that a fresh team has been constituted to seek access to David Coleman Headley and the team will leave for the US very soon.<br/><br/>Earlier, the government said, the American assurance regarding direct access to Lashkar e Taiba operative by Indian investigators, is a significant achievement. Home Secretary G.K Pillai said, that this should put to rest all doubts expressed in this regard by certain quarters.<br/><br/>Headley, who was arrested in October last, had confessed to his America interrogators that he had several times conducted recce for the Mumbai attacks.
