New protocol to make Covid test compulsory for tourists under consideration in Karnataka

<span style="color: #222222;">Karnataka Medical Education Minister Dr.K Sudhakar has informed that a new protocol to make Covid test compulsory for tourists is under consideration by the Government. Speaking to media persons in Madikeri today, the minister said that the new guidelines will be issued to involve police, health and revenue departments for physical check up of tourists arriving to the tourist destinations in the state. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">This he said will help keep a tab on the pandemic. On re-opening schools according to the unlock norms announced by the Central Government, the minister said that the experts in the state have advised to defer the decision in this regard due to an upsurge in the infection. He said that the Government is not considering starting the schools for now. On Mysuru Dasara celebrations, he said it will be a restricted activity with strict implementation of the guidelines.</span><br />
