Union Minister of Commerce, Industry and Textiles, Anand Sharma today said that the new national manufacturing policy has incentives for encouraging industry to use clean and green technology. He was addressing World CEO Sustainable Summit in New Delhi. Mr. Sharma said that India has made significant headway in ensuring sustainable development in recent past. The Minister added that Kyoto Protocol must be adhered and sincerely followed by all countries.

On the issue of increasing exports to Iran, he said the bilateral trade with that country has been healthy and whatever has been exportable has always been exported there. Mr. Sharma made it clear that there has not been any restriction on Indian companies doing trade of commodities with that country.
