The HRD Ministry-appointed panel tasked with drafting a new National Education Policy will submit its report by March 31. Informing this, Union Minister of State for Human Resource Development Satyapal Singh said yesterday that the Ministry will deliberate on the report and thereafter suggestions of the committee will be presented to the Union Cabinet for its approval.<br/><br/>Speaking to a news agency, Mr Singh said that the detailed discussions on the policy have been carried out and it is in the final stage of deliberations. The Minister said that the government was working to set up a world-class education system for all.<br/>'<br/>The existing National Education Policy was framed in 1986 and revised in 1992. Headed by former Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) chief K Kasturirangan, the panel was set up in June last year.
