In Haryana, four new laboratories will be set up to check the pollution level of the industries in the state. This was disclosed by Forests and Environment Minister Capt Ajay Singh Yadav at Chandigarh today, while presiding over the meeting of Haryana State Pollution Control Board. He said that the laboratories would be set up at Yamunnagar, Panipat, Sonipat and Bahadurgarh. Capt Yadav also stressed the need to launch a special drive throughout the State against the use of plastic carry-bags in the state. He directed the Board officers that they should visit Grain Markets, Kissan Mandis and Kiryana shops to check the use of polythene bags. The Environment Minister said that that a joint action plan be formulated with the officers of Health department for disposal of Bio-Medical waste.
