Prasar Bharati President Dr A Surya Prakash today said Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya had sown the seeds for a New India. <br/><br/>Speaking at Dr K R Narayanan Memorial Lecture in JNU, Dr Prakash said, NDA government's policies truly reflect the ideology of Upadhyaya. <br/><br/>He said, it can be seen in Jan Dhan Yojna, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao scheme, low premium life insurance, sanitation scheme, skill development and other initiatives. <br/><br/>He said Upadhyaya was a strong votary of free education and health care, the right to food and right to work. He said Pandit Deendayal was a great thinker, who had the capacity to take a holistic approach to tackle social, economic and political problems. <br/><br/>Dr Prakash said, his ideas were completely ignored for decades because Nehruvians and Marxists who have a dominant role in the educational and academic system, did not want to give him his due.
