Information and Broadcasting Minister Mrs Ambika Soni has said that the new FM Channels will not be auctioned on the lines of 3G in the third phase as it’s a public welfare venture and not a monetary venture for the Government. Speaking at a seminar on Anti-piracy and regulation of content in New Delhi today, she said that the government will come-up with the strict regulations and advance technology to curtail piracy in a long run. She also urged the people to avoid the use of pirated websites, CDs, DVDs and to fight against the social and economic evil.
