Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur today questioned the Delhi government's new excise policy alleging nexus between liquor companies and AAP government.<br />'' <br />'' Briefing the media on CBI raids against Mr. Sisodia over irregularities in excise policy, Mr. Thakur sought to know why the new excise policy was taken back if no corruption had occurred. He also questioned why blacklisted companies were given tenders and 144 crore rupees were allegedly returned to liquor mafia.<br />'' <br />'' He stated that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia have no answers to these questions. He alleged that the number one accused of liquor scam is Mr. Sisodia but the kingpin is Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.<br />'' <br />'' Meanwhile, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia claimed that the excise policy was implemented with complete transparency and there was no scam.<br />'' <br />''Briefing the media, Mr. Sisodia alleged that BJP is not concerned about liquor scam but their worry is rising stature of Mr. Kejriwal in the national politics. He stated that the 2024 Lok Sabha polls will be a fight between AAP vs BJP.
