The government today said that, it is examining whether David Coleman Headley, the prime suspect in Mumbai terrorist attacks can be interrogated by the Indian agencies. The Home Secretary, Mr G K Paillai speaking on the sidelines of a function in New Delhi said the government is trying to work this out with the US agencies in this regard. He added, as mere speculation that New Delhi can not get access to Headly for interrogation.<br/><br/>The Home secretary also said, that India will certainly be satisfied if the US jury awards life imprisonment to Headley. Mr Pillai said Headly has pleaded guilty in connection with 12 charges and there is a possibility of maximum punishment for him by the American court.
