Chemicals and Fertilisers Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya today chaired a seminar on safe use of chemicals at workplace in New Delhi. Speaking on the occasion, he said that workers' safety and humane behavior have been India's top priority. Dr Mandaviya said, government has adopted global best practices to ensure development and welfare of the citizens. He mentioned that chemical industry is a critical and integral part of the growing Indian economy. The Minister said, it occupies a vital position in meeting our basic needs, developmental needs, and improving the quality of daily lives.
