New Delhi: Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh releases E-Booklet on nine years of Seva and Sushasan of Pensions Department

Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances, and Pensions Dr Jitendra Singh today released the E-Booklet on nine years of Seva and Sushasan of the Pensions Department in New Delhi.<br />''<br />'' Speaking on the occasion, Dr Singh said, his Ministry was the first to adopt a Digital Life Certificate through Face Authentication technology for the benefit of pensioners. He said, through this technology, in less than 60 seconds, the certificate reaches the disposal of bankers for recognizing the pensioner. He also underlined that it has resulted in 30 lakh pensioners submitting their life certificates digitally. Dr Singh said, this system has brought ease of living for the retired employee as well as the elderly beneficiaries.<br />'' <br />''In his speech, the Minister said that the number of pensioners in India has outnumbered the serving employees and their experience can be a game changer to India's Vision of 2047.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Dr. Singh also highlighted significant humanitarian pension policy changes, including extending family pension eligibility to dependent divorced daughters of deceased government servants, enhancing family pension in case of an employee's early demise and allowing lifelong family pensions for disabled children of deceased government servants.</span><br />
